Bridal Inspiration

My sister is getting married...very very exciting! And I am in my element helping her pick out The Perfect Wedding Dress...For a little inspiration I went onto Pinterest and a few other wedding blogs in search of wedding dresses and some pretty bridesmaids dresses.

I Heart Bokeh

I adore this photo...The effect is called 'bokeh' and may be loosely translated as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light" and formulates hearts. As far as I understand, the shape that the lights take on (in this case a heart shape) depends on the type of lens used by the photographer.

My First Blog Post

This is my  first ever blog and my first ever blog post...Yeay!

I could never quite understand the attraction to blogging or why people do it...that was until I recently discovered the amazingly creative and inspiring blog of Christine Meintjies and Nicola Pretorius, The Pretty Blog. I am addicted to everything pretty and I just love their Do It Yourself projects!!

So, I have decided to start my own passionate blog, full of pretty pictures, yummy food, awesome coffee shops and great ideas...I hope that with this blog I can inspire anyone who wants to share this journey with me.
