i start art classes today, which has got me super excited!! three hours of training on how to mix colors and learning about different techniques in painting with oil. i remember having had art classes as a kid and how much i enjoyed it. i also had art in high school, but dropped the class due to my distaste of being graded on something based on a teacher's opinion.
it is quite unfortunate that only now, almost ten years later, do i realise that this is something i have been missing out on. letting the creative juices flow. it definitely constitutes some perfect me-time. i hope to report back on my progress in a series of posts over the next few months.
on another note, i came across some awesome ceramics this morning, created by love milo. i would just love a set of their beautiful cups with the wooden saucers. add a teapot, milk jug and a sugar pot and everything will be good in the world. life changing stuff, these ceramics.
